About us

Ever since the late 1980s, Silmet S.r.l. is specialized in mass-produced structural steel. Its manufacturing and administration site is located at 14 Via Carmagnola in Casalgrasso (Cuneo), only 20 km away from the Piedmont capital Turin. The company boasts a 20,000 m² (over 215,000 ft²) lot area – of which 8,000 m² (86,000 ft²) of floor area – and 60 employees in total.

Design

With the experience gained over the years, Silmet S.r.l is able to offer simple and complex design studies and solutions for products.

Structural steelwork

Silmet S.r.l. has gained a 30-year experience in the mass production of medium/heavy-duty steel, using materials with a yield strength up to 1100 MPa.

Automotive shipping racks

Moreover, Silmet S.r.l. is specialized in the manufacture of specific racks for transportation of automotive components.
